Original black cloth with only a hint of edgewear, paper illustration and title by Clarke on the front board. Gilt has worn off on the spine as on all copies of this edition. Black endpapers and top edges. Protected in a clear , mylar sleeve. Unusually, the text block of this copy is not browned or toned as it is in most copies. Several outer page edges are uncut, so at least some of this copy is UNREAD!
