Inside , clean and tight, Unstated printing. Original owner signed and dated 1926 on the title page. Subtitled, "Being a Narrative of the Discoveries and Excavations of Edward Herbert Thompson in the Ancient City of Chi-Chen Itza With Some Discourse on the Culture and Development of the Mayan Civilization as Revealed by their Art and Architecture, Here Set Down and Illustrated from Photographs." With a SCARCE dustjacket NOT price clipped, some chips off at the spine ends and a bit faded on the spine. Protected in a clear, mylar sleeve. Fine description of early archaeology in Mexico by the American Thompson, who was also the American Consul there.
