This copy looks like it arrived from the publisher yesterday, "as new", including the original price on the dustjacket. The Lindbergh's were famous from their aviation exploits, this one covers their flights across the Atlantic to Scandinavia and Russia, down through Europe to Morocco and west on a long, dangerous hop to Brazil. The book won her a second National Book Award. This copy is from her personal library, with a letter inserted attesting to that provenance. In addition, it is signed both by her and Charles Lindbergh, who wrote a foreword, on the half-title page. Protected in a clear mylar jacket and a custom clamshell box. The cloth box has a blue leather title label with bright gilt title on the spine. The label flows onto the front cover of the box as blue sky, with a tiny airplane in a corner. A UNIQUE, VERY SPECIAL COPY. Image available on request.
