A fresh, bright copy of a missionary's trip through Palestine, and up the coast to Beirut. Endpaper maps of the itinerary, and in the back a plan of Jerusalem. This copy looks like it came off the press last week, dark blue cloth with bright gilt camels and title on the front, and bright gilt on the unfaded spine. Top edge gilt. Only the slightest wear at the corners. Inside, very clean and tight with no prior owner marks. A very good travel book for the Christian who can still follow the holy sites in this land, and the book is the better for not being encumbered with the modern cities in today's Israel. Pages 272.
