"Cruises to Cyprus and Constantinople". Two folding maps, one showing the track of Mrs. Brassey's ship, the "Sunbeam". Bright blue binding , with gulls and a ship in black on the front, a decorative title in gilt and blue on front and spine. Edge wear at the corners and spine ends, but the binding protected by a clear, mylar sleeve. Inside, clean and tight with no prior owner marks. Only a hint of foxing on a few pages. Pages xxii, 448 with index. Two maps excellent, with some color. Full page plates have tissue guards. Lady Anna Brassey (1839-1887) "was rich, carefree, idyllically happy with a handsome, distinguished husband and bonny children, and spent her life enjoying genial adventures at sea..." (Wayward Women, by Jane Robinson. She died of malaria , age 48, enroute home from India.
