Bureau of American Ethnology Bulletin 35, Smithsonian Institution. Pages 96. Plate 11 is a folding archeological mpa of the Upper Gila and Salt River Valleys. The area under study is southwest New Mexico and southeast Arizona. This copy in the original olive green hardbound cloth, with several light spots on both covers and the spine. Inside, very clean and tight, the previous owner signed "D.D. Gaillard, Culebra, Canal Zone, April 1908". He was a Colonel in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and one of the principle engineers building the Panama Canal.
