An uncommon early edition in very nice condition, full dark blue calf double gilt lines along edges of all boards with blind-stamped scroll within. Raised bands on all 3 spines, red title labels,olive green volume labels, bright gilt lettering and decoration on all spines. All edges gilt.Gilt dentilles on the inside edges and marbled endpapers. Inside, very clean and tight. The pages are remarkable clean, nd no prior owner marks. Slight rubs to the leather edges and spine ends.Pages vol. one lxxviii, 332. Vol two 341.
