Subtitled "Containing full in...uctions for the use of that ancient and noble instrument the bow, ---". Original light green paper covers with male archer on front and female archer on the rear , both by Cruikshank. Edgewear and front hinge beginning to split, but still solid and protected with a mylar, clear dustjacket. Almost half of the paper on the spine is missing, including the title. Three hand colored woodcuts inside, two of them repeating the archers on the outside covers. Very clean and tight, with no browning or stains to the paper. Bookplate of George Weare Braikenridge, Broomwell House on the inside front cover. Quite a rare book, especially still in its fragile, illustrated paper bcovers.
