Handsome brown leather spines with marbled boards on all three volumes, very slight edgewear. Fresh gilt bands and titles on the spines Hinges all solid. No stains or browning or foxing; insides are exceptionally clean and tight. There is a gift inscription from 1930 on the flyleaf of volume one. There is a stain on the outer edge of volume two for about 1/3 of the book, not affecting the print. A nice set , in French, of the great French writer. Pages 615, 580 and 672.
