Original black calf spine and corners, with a front board having an antique patina of old spots and water stain in a lower corner. Overall clean and tight, the black spine having gilt lines and bright gilt title with wear at the spine ends. Inside , nice tight hinges, paper age toned with mild water stain at the bottom on the first few pages. A literary and political magazine that was published in Pennsylvania from 1801 to 1812 by Joseph Deane and Asbury Dickens. An index at the end. Quite a rare piece of early, post-independence commentary.
